Vegetable and Ground Beef Casserole

  • 1 1/2 Pounds ground beef
  • 1/4-1/2 Cups onions
  • 6-7 medium potatoes (sliced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 5-6 carrots (sliced)
  • 2 Cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 Pint Half and Half


  • Brown the ground beef with onions.
  • Drain off fat.
  • Layer potatoes, carrots, and ground beef in a large greased casserole.
  • Season layers with salt and pepper to your own taste.
  • Heat soup and the Half and Half, pour over layers and bake in a 375° oven for 1 1/2 hours approximately.
  • May use green beans in place of carrots.
