Twenty-Four Hour Salad

Cook in double boiler, stirring until thick

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup cream

Let cool and add:

  • 1 pint cream - whipped
  • 1 cup drained crushed pineapple
  • 1 #2 can white cherries pitted
  • 1 cup chopped almonds (optional )
  • 1 lb. miniature marshmellows.


  • Mix altogether. Refrigerate at least twenty-four hours.
