Ingredients

  • 4 or 5 lbs. spareribs
  • 1/3 cup light molasses
  • 1/4 cup undiluted frozen orange juice
  • 1/4 cup tomato catsup
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp. vinegar

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Sprinkle spareribs with salt and pepper.
  • Place in shallow baking pan and bake 40 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and drain off excess fat.
  • Combine remaining ingredients pour over ribs.
  • Bake 30-40 minutes.
  • Baste with sauce until ribs are brown and thoroughly cooked.
