Six-Week Muffins


Ingredients
- 1 - 15 oz. box raisin bran (7 cups)
- 1 cup melted shortening
- 3 cups sugar
- 4 eggs - beatin
- 1 qt. buttermilk
- 5 cups sifted flour
- 5 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. salt
Instructions
- Mix bran, sugar, flour, soda and salt in a very large bowl.
- Add beaten egg, shortening and buttermilk.
- Mix well, store in refrigerator.
- For muffins, fill greased tins, 2/3 full and bake in preheated oven 400 degrees - 15-20 minutes.
- Batter will keep for 6 week in refrigerator.
- You can mix 2 bananas in with 1/4 recipe.
