- 2 Pounds hash browns
- 1/2 Cup melted butter
- 1/4 Cup chopped onion
- 10 Ounces grated American cheese
- 1 Can cream of chicken soup
- 2 Cup sour cream (or 1 sour cream and 1 tatter topping)
- Thaw potatoes for 45 minutes.
- Place in 9x12-inch pan.
- Combine rest of ingredients except cheese and mix into the potatoes.
- Top with cheese.
- Bake 1 hour at 350°.
