Pork Chops In Sour Cream Gravy


Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 2 tbs. white vinegar
- 2 tbs. white sugar
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 4-5 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 lbs. pork chops
- beau monde to taste (a seasoning put out by Spice Islands )
- egg noodles dumplings or vermicelli
Instructions
- Sprinkle both sides of the pork chops with Beau Monde and place in a casserole dish.
- Mix the sour cream and onion soup until well blended.
- Then add hot water, vinegar and sugar.
- Pour the sauce over the pork chops and cook in a covered casserole at 350 degree F (30-45 minutes per lb.) until done.
- Serve pork chops on a bed of pasta and cover with sauce.
Notes
If sauce separates during cooking, beat with a wisk or fork before pouring over the chops.
