Pear Bread


Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup butter
- 1 Cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 1/2 Cups flour
- 1/2 Cup sour cream of yogurt
- 1 Cup pears (peeled & chopped)
- 1 Tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 Tsp. salt
- 1 Tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 Tsp. soda
- 1/2 Tsp. nutmeg
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and 1 at a time.
- Add dry ingredients.
- Fold in sour cream or yogurt and almond extract until well blended.
- Fold in chopped pears.
- Pour into large loaf pan that has been well oiled.
- Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
