Ingredients

  • 2 Cups sugar
  • 1/4 Tsp. salt
  • 1 Cup white Karo
  • 1 Cup water

Instructions

  • Cook above to 234° on candy thermometer.
  • Add 3 cups raw peanuts.
  • Cook 8 minutes, stirring all the time.
  • Add 2 tbsp. butter.
  • Cook to 300°.
  • Remove from fire, add 1 tsp. vanilla and stir.
  • Add 2 tsp. soda, stir 15 seconds and pour onto buttered cookie sheet to cool.
  • This will foam so use care when handling.
  • After cool, break into pieces.
