Oven Caramel Corn

  • 2 Cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup white sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp. soda
  • 1/2 Pound butter
  • 1 Tsp. salt
  • 8 Quarts popped corn


  • Combine sugar, butter, syrup, and salt.
  • Boil 5 minutes.
  • Stir in soda after you shut off burner.
  • Stir fast and mix soda in good.
  • Pour over corn and mix well.
  • Put on cookie sheet and place in oven for 1 hour at 250°.
  • Stir about every 15 minutes.
