- 2/3 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup scalded milk
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tbsp. margarine
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 egg
- Add scalded milk and melted margarine to oats.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Add beaten egg. Sift flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
- Add to oats and milk mixture. Mix thoroughly.
- Put in greased muffin tins. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.
