Nut Cookies


Ingredients
- 1 Cup white sugar
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 1/2 Cup soft shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tsp. vanilla
- 3 Cups flour
- 1 Tsp. soda
- 1/2 Tsp. salt
- 1 Cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Heat oven to 375°. Mix well sugars, shortening, eggs, and vanilla.
- Sift together flour, soda, salt and stir in.
- Add nuts.
- Shape 1 level tablespoon dough into balls.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Flatten with bottom of greased glass dipped in sugar.
- Bake 8-10 minutes.
- Make approximately 5 dozens.
