- 8 med sized potatoes
- 1 onion (diced)
- 4 tbsp butter or margerine
- 2 cups whole milk
- salt & pepper to taste.
- Peel, chop & boil potatoes; cook until soft, but firm.
- Drain water from potatoes. milk onion, butter, salt & pepper.
- Add 1/2 to 1/4 cup water; simmer for 1/2 hour.
- May need to add more water after 1/2 hour is up.
- Try not to over cook until potatoes are mushy.
- Serve with oyster crackers or croutons.
