Ingredients

  • 1 6 oz. pkg frozen crabmeat or shrimp thawed & drained
  • 1 cup shredded process sharp American cheese
  • 1 3 oz. pkg cream cheese cut in 1/4" cubes
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 cup biscuit mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 tbs. salt
  • dash nutmeg

Instructions

  • Heat oven to 400°.
  • Lightly grease 10 x 1 1/2" pie plate.
  •  Mix seafood, cheeses & onions in pie plate.
  • Beat remaining ingredients until smooth.
  • Pour into pie plate.
  • Bake until knife inserted halfway between center & edge comes out clean; 35 -40 minutes
  • Let stand 5 minutes.
  • Any remaining pie may be refrigerated.

Impossible Seafood Pie

  • Substitute 1 - 6 1/2 oz tuna, drained for the seafood.
  • High altitude (3500 to 6500 ft): Bake 45 -50 minutes.

Notes

1 - 6 oz can crabmeat or 1 - 4 1/2 oz can shrimp, well rinsed and drained, can be substituted for frozen sea food.
