- 1 Cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch (heaping)
- 1/4 Cup cocoa
- 1 Cup water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 Tsp. vanilla
- Mix first 3 ingredients well with spoon.
- Add water and butter and cook mixture until thick.
- Watch carefully and stir occasionally at beginning and continually near end.
- When thick, remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Serve over ice cream.
