Great Pie Crust

  • 3 Cups flour
  • 1 1/4 Cups shortening
  • 1/4 Tsp. salt
  • 1 Tsp. vinegar
  • 1 egg
  • 6 Tbsp. water


  • Blend flour, salt, and shortening until about the size of peas.
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Add more water, if necessary, a teaspoon at a time.
  • Divide in half and roll out to desired thickness. Makes two 9-inch crusts.
