Fettuccine In Cream Sauce

(For 1 lb. fettuccine or linguine)

  • 1 stick butter melted
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • grated parmesan


  • Combine butter and cream and warm for a minute, until the cream is room temperature.
  • Add egg and whisk well.
  • Add cooked pasta, cheese, salt and pepper; mix quickly but thoroughly over low heat and serve immediately. 
  • Serve with Parmesan at the table. 


Also serve with sauteed mushrooms.
