Creamy Green Beans

  • 2 9 oz. pkg frozen cut green beans drained
  • 1 5 oz. can water chestnuts sliced
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1 cup dairy sour cream


  • Cook beans according to package directions. Add water chestnuts; heat through. Cook onion in butter til tender, but not brown. Add remaining ingredients and dash pepper. Heat thoroughly (do not boil). Drain beans & top with sauce.
