Baked Chicken & Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup regular rice
  • 1 chicken cut up
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup golden mushroom soup
  • 1 cup onion soup
  • 1 1/2 cans water

Instructions

  • Put rice in casserole dish or small roaster.
  • Add soups & water.
  • Place chicken on top of this, skin side up.
  • Pour melted margarine over chicken.
  • Place in 350° oven for 1 hr 15 min or until done.
  • Bake uncovered.
  • Do not use minute rice.
  • If brown rice is used longer cooking time is necessary.
