Carrot Casserole

  • 4 1/2 Cups carrots
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 Pound American cheese
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 1/2 Cups corn flakes


  • Parboil carrots until tender.
  • Melt butler and grate cheese.
  • Layer portions cheese, butter, carrots in a casserole and repeat with corn flakes on top.
  • Bake at 325° for about 1 hour until cheese melts.
