- 1 Cup white corn syrup
- 1 Cup white sugar
- Pinch of salt (1/4 tsp.)
- 1 Cup brown sugar
- 1 Cup water
- 1/2 Tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 Cup cream or 1 small can evaporated milk
- Mix corn syrup, while and brown sugars with 1 cup water.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Cool to lukewarm.
- Stir in 1/2 cup cream or 1 small can evaporated milk and add salt and vanilla.
- Serve hot or cold over ice cream.
- If you have some left put in a jar and store in ice box.
