Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup milk
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 1 Tsp. salt
  • 1/4 Cup butter
  • 2 Packages yeast
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 1/2 Cup flour

Instructions

  • Scald milk, stir in sugar, salt, and butter.
  • Dissolve yeast in warm water; add milk, eggs, and half of the flour.
  • Beat well and add enough flour to make soft dough.
  • Knead until smooth.
  • Let rise for 1 hour.
  • Shape into loaves or rolls; let rise.
  • Bake at 350° until done.
