Almond Chicken


Ingredients
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup celery diced
- 1 cup bamboo shoots diced
- 1 cup onion diced
- 8 water chestnuts sliced
- 1/2 lb. almonds
- 3 tbsp oil
Marinade:
- 1 lb. chicken raw
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3 tbsp. rice wine
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
Instructions
- Cut chicken meat into cubes and mix marinade ingredients.
- Marinate for 30 minutes.
- Heat wok, add oil and saute chicken over medium heat.
- Add soup stock to the chicken and heat thoroughly.
- Take out chicken and set aside.
- Place all vegetables.
- Add almonds.
- Serve over rice.
